Developing and implementing communication strategies that support Missile Propulsion (MP) Sector
Create external and internal communications products, writing, editing, and distributing content
Develop and lead the implementation of communications strategies for the organization
Develop and maintain strong media relationships with key outlets
Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure communication is clear and consistent
Advise and counsel senior leaders on best communication practices
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications
Draft strategic communications plans and manage crisis communications
Manage special projects, VIP visits, and other communications efforts as required

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Experience in writing for executives
experience storytelling and drafting news releases
Experience developing PowerPoint briefings
Experience analyzing and reporting metrics
Knowledge of AP Style
Experience in working with journalists
Experience with digital communications tools
Experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel
