Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Overview

• Work closely with Planners, Program Quality Engineers, and Receiving Inspection to resolve supplier issues
• Visit suppliers and perform product acceptance of electrical assemblies
• Interface with internal and external customers to ensure requirements are met
• Analyze supplier processes and planning to verify compliance
• Work with suppliers to resolve issues with purchase order inspection packages
• Investigate and report supplier quality history
• Perform investigation and root cause analysis to drive improvements
• Be accountable for assigned suppliers' performance
• Visit suppliers to review technical, quality and other contractual requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant quality experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related quality experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to synthesize and analyze data from several sources
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• J-STD-001 Certification Preferred
• IPC-610 Certification Preferred
• J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification Preferred
• Strong problem-solving, RCCA and investigation experience
• Certified Quality Engineer strongly preferred
