Lead and support the development of junior engineering staff
Plan and deliver electrical engineering projects for industrial and utility clients
Perform power system studies (short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, grounding, harmonics)
Design and integrate protection and control systems (e.g., SEL, GE, Siemens, Schneider)
Develop and review electrical drawings (SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams)
Design and modify electrical distribution systems (switchgear, MCCs, transformers, relays, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with practical solutions
Support commissioning, inspections, and field data collection as required
Prepare technical proposals, estimates, and client documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan or eligible for registration
10+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 5+ years of experience obtained after earning P.Eng. designation, in relevant power systems engineering.
Experience with power system analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) is an asset
Familiarity with protection relays and substation/automation systems is an asset
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
