Role Overview
- Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities
- Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval
- Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors
- May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals
- Conducts on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
- Prepares studies and reports
- Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a degree from a technical college and 2 to 5 years of experience; or the equivalent combination both
- Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred
- Experience producing architectural drawings is required
- Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail
- Physically present in a Gray office
- Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development
