Underwriting Consultant – Aging Services

Role Overview

• Responsible for overall management, business development and analysis of a highly complex book of business
• Performs a combination of underwriting duties
• Develops specialized endorsement language for highly complex risk
• Markets products and services through agencies or the brokerage community
• Analyzes quality, quantity, and profitability of highly complex risks underwritten
• Mentors and guides less experienced underwriters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Typically a minimum eight years underwriting experience
• Advanced technical expertise, underwriting skill and high level of knowledge of insurance and underwriting principles, practices and procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
