Provide customer support for analyzer and measurement systems installed in Pulp & Paper manufacturing process.
Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements.
Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors.
Report back on the completed service outlining the activities carried out, faults found and any future recommendations for improving the service offering.
Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred.
Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
4+ Years experience in the field with instrumentation and electromechanics preferably in a pulp and paper manufacturing environment.
A technical school diploma in instrumentation, electromechanics, or mechatronics.
A University bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical or similar engineering.
Electro-mechanically inclined, computer-based system literate, self-guided, and have a strong work ethic.
Self-motivated who excels both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable handling customer pressure, staying focused, and collaborating effectively.
Overall travel expectations are up to 75%.
This position requires a valid driver’s license.
Instrumentation background.
Understanding of paper machines paper making process.
