Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Proactive Pumping Station Manager
Work within the teams to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across our Treatment Works and Pumping Station Assets.
Providing Technical support, expertise and advice to deliver effective and efficient operations of Water Recycling Operations resources, processes, assets and systems.
Identify, implement and share improvements to facilitate effective and efficient operation of the Water Recycling Operations process.
Work closely with relevant teams to deliver efficient solutions to operational issues.
Coaching and supporting the development and performance management of Technicians.
Develop, encourage and foster good and safe working practices and work in accordance with the Company’s safety rules at all times.
Work within the Ovarro Pump insight to analyse asset performance and upload data.
Manage available resources to ensure all maintenance work is delivered within agreed level of service.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all actions are achieved on service completion.
Drive continuous improvement of process and service through implementation of new ideas/equipment.
Provide expert support to monitor and coach field resources in techniques/equipment used for the service and maintenance of pumping station assets.
Requirements
Full driving licence
Demonstrate experience and awareness of Health and Safety within an operational environment
Ability to adapt communication style (both written and verbal) to suit a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate customer service skills and ability to deal with customers in an empathetic and professional manner
Knowledge or understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical systems used in wastewater is desirable but not essential
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mechanical or Electrical subject would be desirable. NVQ 2 is also acceptable for the right candidate.
Knowledge or understanding of wastewater systems including Ovarro and processes would be beneficial.
Must be able to work within a confined space, and at height without restrictions.
Maximum weight cannot be in excess of 113 kilograms.
Expected to complete relevant occupational health checks including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV).
