Senior Tax Consultant – ICMS

Role Overview

• Focus on calculation and review of ICMS assessments (own ICMS, ICMS-ST, eCredac, etc.)
• Participate in projects to identify tax opportunities (ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/Cofins, IPI, and ISS)
• Complete, review, and rectify tax reporting obligations (EFD-Contribuições and EFD-ICMS/IPI)
• Assist in interpreting current tax regulations
• Draft technical memoranda to address client inquiries
• Develop the team and work across various projects
• Participate in the preparation and calculation of tax benefits and tax positions
• Active participation in Tax Reform projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Law
• Experience with indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/Cofins, IPI, and ISS)
• Experience in tax advisory/consulting
• Accounting knowledge and analytical reasoning
• Knowledge of tax positions and tax theories
• Knowledge of tax reporting obligations and fiscal documents
• Familiarity with tax reporting file layouts (e.g., EFD formats)
• Advanced Office skills (Excel: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMIFS, IF, SUBTOTAL, and PivotTables)
• Desirable: experience in judicial litigation
• Desirable: experience in administrative tax litigation
