Leverage BIM to create and refine detailed plans, construction documents, spatial concepts, floor plans, schematics, and 3D models for stakeholder communication.
Support the design team by providing technical solutions that uphold design intent and building science principles.
Coordinate project deliverables with external stakeholders, review documents for accuracy and completeness, identify issues, and create solutions to resolve design challenges while upholding design intent.
Actively participate in meetings, relay critical updates, address stakeholder concerns, and align project execution with established goals.
Conduct regular reviews of drawings and models to uphold the quality assurance process, ensuring full compliance with stakeholder requirements, building codes, regulations, design specifications, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
A Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture.
At least 5 years of progressively more responsible roles within Architecture firms.
Proficient experience in Revit.
Experience in SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
Working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws.
An understanding and experience of the municipal approval process.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.
