Lead the technical part of business development activities: Review RFQ's and define suitable ME products with respect to the ME product strategy & represent ME as a technical leader and innovative company towards customers and prospective clients.
Define new products and product roadmap based on identified market trends and needs.
Lead the effort estimation & provide holistic cost estimation for business case evaluations and commercial offers: Development efforts & resource assessment, validation & testing concepts
Define the technical and industrialization concept for quotes together with the Chief Technical Officer and the Chief Operation Officer
Identify business cases and align product strategies in R&D and provide feedback to the Chief Technical Office and Chief Growth Officer
Identify the most suitable products for the customer (carry-over vs new development) in alignment with the ME product strategy
Facilitate a seamless transition from the acquisition phase to project execution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Demonstrated expertise in technical product management within HV batteries or related industries (+5 years)
Strong understanding of battery management systems principles, product development processes and project management methodologies relevant to battery technologies.
Proficient in evaluating business cases specific to battery management systems and making data-driven decisions in the context of BMS solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and representing the organization's BMS capabilities to external partners and customers.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment inherent to battery technologies, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving industry standards, customer requirements, and technological advancements in the BMS domain.
