As part of the Operations Directorate and reporting directly to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the construction sites assigned to them.
During the development phase:
Contribute to the preparation of the brief, specifications and sketches, in coordination with the architect and engineering consultants
Participate in defining the budget
Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals and participate in proposal presentations
During the procurement/assembly phase:
Contribute to preparing detailed budgets
Help prepare tender documents and contract packages
Launch calls for tender, analyze bids, adjust proposals and negotiate contracts
During the construction/implementation phase:
Manage the site, lead site meetings, and draft meeting minutes (site/client, etc.)
Coordinate programming, scheduling and on-site execution of works
Manage site contingencies and unforeseen issues
Oversee financial (budgets, progress payments, contingencies) and administrative monitoring of the project
Carry out project handover, final acceptance of works and follow up on defect rectification
Throughout the project, you are responsible for the project’s success across technical, administrative, legal and financial dimensions, and for ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
Degree in engineering or a Master’s specialized in civil engineering/construction with proven experience (5–8 years) managing construction projects autonomously
Demonstrated expertise in project setup and procurement: bid analysis, technical adjustment and negotiation of construction contracts
Full leadership of the execution phase: conduct site meetings, manage complex schedules and oversee defect resolution
Advanced command of financial and legal monitoring of projects, safeguarding operating margin and meeting deadlines
Ability to make technical and financial decisions in response to major contingencies to ensure overall project success
Strong leadership to coordinate all stakeholders (clients, architects, engineering consultants) and represent the company during proposal presentations
Absolute rigor in administrative and legal compliance and in enforcing safety standards
