Contribute to developing the program, specifications and initial sketches in coordination with the architect and engineering consultancies
Contribute to defining the project budget
Participate in preparing commercial proposals and in proposal presentations
Assist in preparing detailed budgets
Contribute to preparing tender documents and contract documentation
Participate in issuing calls for tender, analyzing bids, re-aligning offers and negotiating contracts
Manage the construction site, lead site meetings and prepare meeting minutes (site / client, etc.)
Oversee sequencing, scheduling and execution of on-site works
Manage on-site contingencies and unexpected issues
Monitor project financials (budgets, TS [change orders], contingencies) and administrative aspects of the project
Oversee handover and delivery of the works and follow up on the resolution of defects
Responsible for the overall success of the project across technical, administrative, legal and financial dimensions, and for ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
Degree in engineering or a specialized Master’s in construction/civil engineering (e.g., ICAM, ESTP, HEI, INSA) with proven initial experience (2 to 4 years) in site management
Ability to be actively involved in project set-up, with strong skills in bid analysis, technical re-alignment and negotiation of construction contracts
Solid command of managing the execution phase: leading site meetings, handling scheduling and overseeing defect rectification
Ability to rigorously manage financial tracking (TS [change orders], budgets) and administrative tasks, progressively taking responsibility for operational margin and meeting deadlines
Strong organizational skills and responsiveness for operational management of site contingencies, with a growing capacity for technical and financial decision-making
Excellent interpersonal skills and developing leadership to coordinate all stakeholders (clients, architects, BET [engineering consultancies], partner companies)
Thoroughness regarding administrative and legal compliance.
