About this role
Role Overview
- Review and interpret OEM equipment documentation (sensor specs, events, thresholds)
- Extract, structure, and normalize data to feed automated protocol configuration pipelines
- Support automation of test scenarios based on structured inputs
- Collaborate with developers and protocol owners to ensure accuracy and completeness of parsed specifications
- Track inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies in documentation and flag them for follow-up
- Participate in the development of internal tooling or scripts (e.g., in Python) to streamline data parsing and ingestion
- Maintain configuration records and associated change documentation
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- 2–4 years of experience in a QA, data analyst, or technical documentation role
- Familiarity with structured data formats (Excel, CSV, XML, JSON)
- Experience working with scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Basic understanding of software configuration workflows
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with equipment protocols or industrial telemetry (e.g., CAN, J1939)
- Exposure to QA automation or continuous integration environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical hardware specifications
- Familiarity with configuration management or DevOps pipelines
- ISTQB or similar QA-related certification
