About this role

Manages, directs and integrates the facility's Radiation Protection Program
Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to managers, professionals, and nonexempt personnel
Implements Site and DOE level policies through formulation and implementation of facility-specific plans and procedures
Conducts management walk-throughs and surveillances of areas of responsibility to monitor and enforce standards
Develops and implements the facility's business planning systems to efficiently utilize resources
Provides management leadership to ensure a safety and total quality culture for the facility

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related
A minimum of four years nuclear experience is required.
Manager must stay current on GET and RadWorker Training Phase II or equivalent
US Department of Energy (DOE) site experience preferred
Demonstrated supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of regulations and requirements pertaining to radiation and health physics
Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification
