Provides accounting and financial support for transportation and logistics operations in accordance with Navy financial policies and accounting standards
Tracks transportation costs, reviews invoices, reconciles charges, and maintains accurate financial records related to freight, cargo movement, and transportation services
Reviews shipping documentation, validates billing accuracy, and ensures costs are properly allocated and recorded
Supports budget tracking, prepares financial reports, and assists with audits or reviews related to transportation expenditures
Maintains accounting files, supports internal controls, coordinates with transportation and logistics personnel to resolve discrepancies, and ensures compliance with financial and contractual requirements
Contributes to accurate cost management and financial accountability in a remote, mission‑driven environment
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, transportation accounting, or related field
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of accounting principles, cost tracking, and financial reconciliation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting or financial tracking systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be in possession of a valid Passport and be able to travel internationally. Passport should be valid for a minimum of 1 plus years at the time of hiring.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
