About this role
Role Overview
Provide advice and counsel related to corporate governance matters and transactions.
Analyze legal and regulatory risks and offer practical legal solutions.
Mentor peers and other Legal Department staff members.
Deliver effective legal advice to protect enterprise interests and mitigate risks.
Assist in the management of the legal budget and outside counsel relationships.
Ensure compliance with the enterprise Code of Conduct.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law.
Licensed to practice law in at least one state in the United States.
3-6 years of relevant experience in a corporate/transactional practice in a law firm or as in-house counsel with health law experience preferred.
Ability to support Legal Department leadership and business clients on business and legal strategy, while assessing, communicating, managing, and mitigating legal risk to the enterprise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
