Provides Production Support (Hardware and Software) activities to Teradyne’s customers in Malaysia.
This includes supporting test equipment troubleshooting and break-fixing, analyzing problems, and recommending solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms to optimize customer production throughput.
Apply electrical engineering principles to troubleshoot and solve problems on test instruments.
Support test program release-to-production activities at the customer site.
Interfaces with various support teams within Teradyne to deliver on Teradyne’s commitment to our customers.
Provides remote technical support.
Provides formal and on-the-job training to the customers.
Provides active management of the assigned accounts.
Escalates service issue and takes ownership of the issues until it is resolved.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Strong team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
2-3 years’ test/product engineering experience in IC component testing preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
Willing to travel.
Knowledge of ‘C’ or Visual Basic programming and UNIX and/or Windows.
Handler and prober interface experience.
