GMP Manufacturing Technician

Role Overview

• Responsible for highly complex and specialized manufacturing of cellular products for clinical use
• Support the daily operation of the CCBB facility to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform duties as dictated by standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Utilize a biological safety cabinet and employ aseptic technique
• Operate instrumentation needed for cell manufacturing and complete batch record documentation
• Maintain responsibility and donor confidentiality
• Collaborate with lab manager and other technicians for compliance
• Maintain orderly lab spaces and participate in lab inspections
• Record and inform of inventory needs and maintain laboratory equipment
• Follow laboratory safety and infection control procedures
• Complete assigned training and required competency assessments

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field
• Prefer up to two years of laboratory experience, preferably in a GMP/regulated environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and concepts.
