About this role
Role Overview
Manage and coordinate global and regional sourcing activities for logistics-related services in the MED region
Build and maintain strong market and supplier knowledge across the MED region
Ensure full adherence to NX Global Sourcing processes and compliance
Secure and manage medium
and long-term logistics contracts, including 2027 coverage
Act as key account for regional and local logistics suppliers within the MED region
Understand, prepare, issue, and lead RFQs/RFPs, including commercial negotiations and supplier selection
Negotiate, set up, and manage contracts and framework agreements with logistics service providers
Ensure contract coverage in line with business needs
Interface closely with Logistics, Tender Management, Project Management, and other regional and global functions
Provide cost estimations and market input to support tender and sales phases
Develop, implement, and maintain sourcing strategies aligned with global targets
Maintain procurement and sourcing documentation in line with NX Global Sourcing processes and compliance requirements
Monitor supplier performance and ensure optimal balance of cost, quality, and delivery
Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
Contribute to continuous improvement of standards, tools, and processes on a global level
Report sourcing activities, risks, and achievements on a regular basis
Requirements
Background in logistics, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
Experience in supplier negotiations and contract management, preferably in an international environment
Logistics services sourcing experience is an advantage
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel 10–20% within the region and to headquarters
Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus
