About this role
Role Overview
Design, develop, and validate electrical drive solutions for wind turbine pitch systems.
Specify and integrate power electronics, converters, and control hardware.
Develop, parametrize, and maintain control software for pitch converters.
Define, execute, and document tests for pitch systems and electrical components.
Translate system and customer requirements into electrical concepts and architectures.
Contribute to system architecture, including requirements management and interfaces.
Support system-level analyses such as trade-offs, redundancy concepts, and failure modes.
Provide technical support across development, industrialization, series production, and PLM documentation.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics , or a comparable discipline.
Proven experience in electrical drive technology and/or power electronics.
Strong knowledge of electric motors, converters, and control principles.
Experience in parametrization; interest in or affinity for programming.
Understanding of systems engineering methods (requirements, interfaces, system thinking).
Familiarity with simulation tools, testing, and structured engineering documentation.
Structured, analytical working style with a strong system-level mindset.
Fluent in English; comfortable working in international teams and traveling up to ~20%.
