Assist in translating product strategy into clear product roadmaps. Define features through clearly written user stories as part of an Agile delivery team.
Participate in ongoing Discoveries by performing market research and competitive analysis to understand user needs.
Coordinate and organize work streams across multiple small to medium-sized projects. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives.
Communicate with internal teams and external client representatives. Capture meeting insights and send regular project updates to project stakeholders.
Track project progress and regularly follow-up with team members to identify, resolve and escalate potential project blockers.
Identify, define, evaluate, plan, track and realize the outcomes and benefits of change initiatives instituted by organizational leaders. Contribute to the determination of project scope, resource requirements, and project milestones.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore Codal teams including designers, engineers, and business stakeholders. Work across the internal and client organization, partnering with multiple stakeholders to understand and translate requirements.
Seek and incorporate feedback to continuously improve understanding of product/project management skill sets and PMO process understanding.
Requirements
Currently a senior undergraduate student or a master's candidate in a relevant program (IT, software engineering, or a related field).
Experience or coursework demonstrating interest in at least one of the following core PM areas: Product Strategy (market/competitive analysis), UX/UI Design (wireframing/journey mapping), or Agile Delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
Familiarity with at least one software management tool relevant to the role, such as Jira, Confluence, or other popular services for project management and documentation.
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience or coursework in one or more of the primary focus areas:
Product Strategy: Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and translating business goals into product requirements.
UX/Design: Familiarity with product discovery activities like user journey mapping, product ideation, and MVP definition.
Agile/Delivery: Understanding of defining features through clearly written user stories and leading team prioritization efforts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate business needs and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Possess maturity and good judgment.
A strong eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
Ability to work in-person on a hybrid basis at our HQ in Chicago, IL for the full duration of the internship (June 1, 2026
August 7, 2026).
