Role Overview
Own the messaging and positioning framework for the Plaud Developer Platform (Embedded SDK, OAuth App, Personal API/MCP/CLI) — translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions that convert.
Maintain and update the Developer Platform website via Claude Code; coordinate asset production with design and engineering for all launch milestones (design partner launch, SaaStr, GA).
Develop and execute developer lifecycle email campaigns and onboarding flows (using AI writing tools for copy generation) to drive conversions.
Lead campaign briefs for regional and performance marketing; partner with DevRel on content strategy including blog posts, developer newsletter, and case studies.
Drive ongoing competitive intelligence and market positioning updates; produce customer stories and case studies from design partner relationships.
Requirements
5+ years of B2B software experience, with at least 2 years in marketing at API or developer tools company; startup experience is strongly preferred.
Strong written communication
able to translate technical capabilities (APIs, SDKs) into developer value props without handholding from engineering.
AI-native: uses Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to scale their productivity, producing copy, strategy drafts, mockups, and has strong design taste and comfortable working in Figma.
Campaign execution and cross-functional coordination experience; familiar with content strategy, SEO/AEO fundamentals, and developer content formats (docs, tutorials, changelogs).
Bonus: Familiarity with Mintlify, GitHub, Claude Code, or other developer platform tooling.
