You own a global category of raw materials such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, flavours, and sweeteners
You analyze spend, cost drivers, market trends, and the global supplier landscape to derive and implement a sustainable sourcing strategy
You build and develop strong relationships with existing and potential new international suppliers
You segment and evaluate suppliers based on quality, service, and value, and conduct regular business reviews and executive meetings
You identify and drive global cost-saving initiatives and deliver on productivity targets
You analyze data to identify optimization opportunities, reduce complexity, and drive standardization and consolidation on a global level
You collaborate closely with international internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between sourcing strategies, timelines, and business objectives
You lead complex international tenders (RFX), drive negotiations, and manage contracts considering price, supply, service, legal, and IP risks
You proactively identify risks, anticipate price developments, and ensure long-term supply security

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, engineering, operations, or a comparable field
You bring at least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in an international environment
You have knowledge of relevant raw materials and ingredients
You have experience in building and managing international supplier relationships
You demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross-functional and international teams
You ideally have experience in the FMCG or food industry
You communicate fluently in English and ideally also in German, both written and spoken
You have strong analytical and structured working skills, combined with solid project management capabilities
