Role Overview
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather information on business processes, data usage, pain points, reporting needs and improvement priorities
Support the delivery of domain assessments, including the documentation of business context, data flows, systems, ownership, risks, issues and opportunities
Support the development of data strategies by gathering relevant business context, identifying themes, summarising findings and helping shape strategic recommendations
Contribute to data maturity assessments by collecting evidence, documenting current capabilities and helping assess strengths, gaps and priority improvement areas
Support the definition and documentation of data governance structures, including roles, responsibilities, decision points, controls and supporting processes
Assist with the development of data-related policies, standards and supporting documentation, ensuring outputs are clear, practical and aligned with client needs
Capture, document and structure business use cases, requirements and expected outcomes to support prioritisation and solution design
Analyse and document current-state and future-state business processes, identifying inefficiencies, control gaps, data issues and opportunities for improvement
Work with technical colleagues to translate business needs into well-defined requirements that support architecture, engineering and reporting delivery
Help develop high-quality client deliverables including assessment reports, requirement documents, process maps, governance artefacts, policy drafts and presentation materials
Support the identification and documentation of data quality challenges, ownership gaps, reporting risks and other issues affecting the effective use of data
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal methods, templates and approaches used across Seriös Group delivery
Build strong working relationships with clients by demonstrating value creation, professionalism, curiosity, responsiveness and attention to detail
Support pre-sales and early discovery activities where required by helping gather requirements, understand client needs and contribute to solution shaping
Requirements
Strong analytical thinking, with experience interpreting business challenges, data issues and process inefficiencies in a structured way
Skilled in gathering, organising and documenting requirements, findings and recommendations clearly and accurately
Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, including running workshops, asking effective questions and drawing out meaningful insight
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the credibility to build trusted client relationships and work effectively across different levels of an organisation
Commercial awareness and a clear understanding of how data, governance and process improvement support wider business objectives
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear, well-structured and professional client-facing deliverables
Organised and adaptable, with the confidence to manage competing priorities and respond to changing client and business needs
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on consistency, quality and producing practical outputs that can be acted upon
Curious and improvement-focused, with an interest in data strategy, governance, business analysis and modern data practices
Comfortable working alongside architects, engineers and analysts to translate business needs into well-defined outputs and requirements
