Provide hands‑on EHS support to Engineering Operations, including operational engineering, maintenance activities, and engineering projects
Act as a primary EHS contact for Engineering, supporting the implementation of EHS programs, and day‑to‑day execution
Actively promote a strong safety culture, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Engineering teams
Lead the departmental safety committee meetings and manage the schedule for workplace inspections and report on audits and actions
Review shutdown planning activities for EHS considerations and implement changes as required – working with external contractors and companies on site to ensure clear EHS understanding and compliance
Facilitate and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and completion of corrective actions
Manage Permit System, regulatory registers, produce reports and present at monthly meetings
Requirements
Degree or equivalent in Engineering disciplines or other related fields
Chemical Engineering well regarded
Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in EHS or operational roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong experience with engineering-related EHS risks, including permits, isolation, contractor management, confined space, working at heights, and process safety
Practical, solution-focused approach with the ability to engage engineers and operations teams effectively
Experience supporting engineering operations, maintenance, or capital projects in a regulated environment
Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills
