About this role
Role Overview
You will work directly with the CEO on GreenPocket’s strategic direction.
With your broad interests, you will identify — over the course of several months — market-relevant key elements for acquiring new direct customers in a specific segment (e.g., retail, municipalities, and residential property management).
From your findings you will derive concrete action items and proactively initiate first contact with potential customers.
You welcome the challenge of regularly dealing with new or amended legal requirements (e.g., the Energy Efficiency Ordinance) and assessing their impact on the company.
Additionally, you are passionate about entrepreneurship and interested in exploring growth potential in new markets.
Market and competitor analyses are right up your alley.
You enjoy working on market entry concepts, business models for corporate customers and innovations, creating Ideal Customer Profiles, and occasionally taking creative approaches.
You lead your market-relevant, strategic projects independently, but you know exactly when to involve internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Development and Controlling, and you also coordinate with external service providers.
You convince us with your creative skills when developing marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.
You discuss all your results directly with the CEO.
Requirements
You have successfully completed a degree in economics, business administration, or another program with a management focus, or you hold a comparable qualification that convinces us.
You are a sharp thinker who understands connections and can analyze them quickly.
Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in business development at a software company, preferably at a startup or in a consulting environment.
It is desirable that you are interested in energy efficiency and AI topics or already have experience in this field.
With your very good PowerPoint skills you engage others with your presentations, and you are also very confident in Excel.
With your very good German and English skills you are comfortable speaking with potential customers.
