Role Overview
- Use a SIEM solution to analyze log data
- Detect abnormal behavior
- Monitor new attacks and emerging threats
- Implement new detection controls and alerts
- Analyze security incidents
- Provide support and remediation for incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, or a college diploma with a specialization in cybersecurity
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a security analyst
- Intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness
- Ability to communicate and simplify technical information for reporting
- Security clearance is a plus
- Experience with vulnerability scanners
- SIEM skills and knowledge of networks (WAN/LAN)
- Security knowledge: firewalls, proxies, IPS/IDS, WAF, etc.
- System skills (Unix/Linux and Windows)
- Fluency in English and French
