About this role
Role Overview
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customs inquiries from internal teams, brokers, and authorities
- Perform Harmonized Tariff classification and manage preferential origin determination
- Monitor regulatory changes and conduct regular audits for compliance
- Review supply chain changes and new product launches for risk evaluations and duty savings
- Build strong relationships with external partners and deliver training to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in international trade and customs compliance
- Deep understanding of import/export regulations (Incoterms, Rules of Origin)
- Proficiency with SAP and Global Trade Services (GTS)
- German knowledge at min. B2 level
