Role Overview
- Oversight and management of an assigned group of Wealth Management Advisors.
- Grows and maintains strong client and participant relationships.
- Ensures the delivery of a seamless client experience through coaching.
- Establish relationships across all touch points for client advocacy.
- Ensures advisors utilize TIAA’s broad range of resources.
- Evaluates and assigns Advisors appropriate books of clients.
- Implements appropriate strategies to increase market share.
- Assists leaders in charting strategy for the wealth management group.
- Develops and maintains a good understanding of TIAA’s competitors.
- Manages the performance of team leaders through regular feedback and performance review.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- FINRA licensing required: Series 7 and Series 66 (or an equivalent combination of Series 63 and Series 65)
- 10+ years of experience preferred
- Active FINRA Series 24 license preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching high-performing teams
- Proven ability to develop and grow talent within an organization
- Strong track record of identifying and cultivating high-potential talent
