Lead impactful, science-based advocacy representing Umicore in key policy and industry fora.
Develop and steer advocacy positions on EU and national regulatory files.
Translate complex topics into clear positions aligned with Umicore’s priorities.
Build and maintain high-level relationships with policymakers and stakeholders.
Design and execute targeted advocacy strategies.

A university degree in science, engineering, economics, policy, law or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in government affairs, advocacy, public policy or related roles.
Proven exposure to EU and/or national decision making processes and industry or representative bodies.
The ability to distil complex regulatory and technical issues into clear, compelling narratives.
Strong credibility, communication and networking skills, with confidence to engage at senior level.
Fluency in English and at least one additional European business language.
A collaborative, resilient and intellectually curious mindset.
