Role Overview
- Develop and maintain COBOL Batch and Online (interactive) programs.
- Analyze and resolve incidents and implement improvements in legacy systems.
- Work with COBOL integrated with DB2 and DMSII databases.
- Create and modify JCL scripts for job execution.
- Use the SADs framework for application development and maintenance.
- Support the functional team in requirements analysis and business rules.
- Ensure the quality and stability of deliverables within defined deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong experience with COBOL for Batch and Online (interactive) processing.
- Experience with COBOL integrated with DB2 and DMSII.
- Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
- Experience with the SADs framework.
- Familiarity with the z/OS environment.
- Knowledge of log analysis and debugging.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of VSAM.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of IWS.
