Role Overview
- Provides guidance on policy and procedures regarding laws, collection activities and accounting principles from complex tax related inquiries to both internal and external customers
- Researches tax issues and laws, and examines taxpayer accounts for compliance using the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX)
- May provide training and assistance in several areas of taxation
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- Eighteen months of experience providing customer service that includes telephone or written communication
- Eighteen months of experience researching and resolving account issues in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) or CAMS
