Role Overview
- Oversee the financial management and performance of multifamily and commercial real estate investment funds
- Responsible for fund-level accounting, financial modeling, and cash flow execution to ensure accurate reporting and timely funding installments
- Manage fund financial models, coordinate and review tax returns, administer capital calls and distributions, and monitor fund performance against projected yields
- Ensure that investor commitments, distributions, and return expectations are met in alignment with offering documents and investment strategy
- Create and manage performance of complex multi-investor and proprietary fund offerings
- Evaluate and report upon data consistent to fund performance
- Manage all aspects of fund closings and fund modifications
- Perform internal and external reporting on fund performance, ad hoc and specific analytic tasks as requested
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Strong accounting and financial modeling foundation
- Experience in complex fund structures and real estate investments
- Backgrounds from CPA firms or similar environments are strong fits
- Experience in fund accounting, investor reporting, and financial analysis within real assets or private equity
- University/college degree or comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
