Responsible for integrating business requirements into technology and ensuring smooth function of business operations.
Analyze, design, configure, implement and maintain information systems, data centres, virtual infrastructures, networking components, and security.
Provide first-level technical support, system administration and system development including performing system maintenance; troubleshoots a variety of system failures;
Monitors the overall integrity of FortisBC’s OT/IT environment and PACS; investigates potential sources of errors and participates in the implementation of corrective measures.
Completes compliance related documentation for routine and non-routine compliance related tasks or change requests.

Currently enrolled in a recognized diploma or greater program focusing on computing and/or networking principles.
Basic knowledge in programming/scripting and/or database query languages.
Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver’s License.
Solid analytical and organizational skills, including ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong attention to detail with focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality accurate and reliable data in a high-pressure environment.
Solid time management skills with the ability to multi-task deadline-driven tasks.
