Create, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify gaps and ensure adherence to policies.
Perform risk evaluations and recommend corrective actions to minimize compliance exposure.
Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues promptly and effectively.
Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of regulations.
Stay informed on new laws, regulations, and industry’s best practices; communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with import regulations and oversee compliance with customs regulations, tariff classifications (HTS codes), valuation, and country-of-origin requirements for imported goods and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Lead minor compliance-related projects and contribute to strategic initiatives for regulatory readiness.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field preferred
2+ years of people leadership experience
4+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs, preferably in pharmaceuticals
Pharmaceutical distribution or wholesale experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including trade compliance requirements
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
