Solution Design: Create detailed architecture diagrams (data flows, integrations, and components) using the Azure ecosystem.
Component Selection: Define the strategic use of services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
Modernization: Guide the migration of legacy systems to microservices, event-driven, or serverless architectures.
Technical Governance: Ensure the solution design complies with security, performance and cost (FinOps) standards, without necessarily operating the infrastructure.
Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and Development/DevOps teams to ensure the implementation follows the proposed design.
Requirements
Azure PaaS: Deep experience with platform (PaaS) and serverless services.
Integration: Proficiency in integration patterns (APIs, Webhooks, Pub/Sub, messaging).
Data Architecture: Knowledge of data modeling and selecting between SQL and NoSQL databases based on workload.
Application Security: Familiarity with identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID), OAuth2, and secrets management (Key Vault) from a software perspective.
Nice-to-have: AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) or AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Azure) certifications.
