Lead and support geophysical surveys using in-house survey equipment
Assist in the design of survey programmes to identify subsurface risks
Support the design of third party onshore and near-shore marine surveys
Utilise industry-standard software to process raw field data into actionable models
Assist with the interpretation of seismic datasets and conduct structural analysis
Manage field equipment maintenance and uphold strict Health & Safety standards on-site.
Requirements
A degree in Geophysics, Geology, or Civil Engineering (MSc preferred)
2+ years in a commercial engineering or environmental geophysics environment
Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and geophysical processing software
Willingness to travel to remote sites across the UK and overseas when required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage time and priorities while working on several varied projects
Ability to autonomously develop critically thought-out solutions and bring work scopes to the team, including the ability to show/communicate critical thinking in assessing other solutions.
