About this role
Role Overview
- Manage large, cross-functional projects as specified by FMS initiatives
- Support proofs-of-concepts (POC’s) to enact new processes, tools, and technologies in Ryder Maintenance locations
- Provide Project Management standards and artifacts, liaise between stakeholders, ensure scope, measurement, documentation, communication/training, and feedback forums
- Facilitate brainstorming/ideation events, Value Stream process mapping events, and Kaizen/improvement events to discover improvement opportunities
- Participate in IT-related activities across the scope of assigned projects and POC’s
- Support the FMS Transformation Office across the scope of assigned projects and POC’s
- Manage the preparation and dissemination of quality management data analysis or reports across the scope of assigned projects for use by Maintenance Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems, Operations or Business
- 5 years or more in Experience in Project, Process or Operations Management
- 5 years or more in Experience in planning and executing full life cycle DMAIC or PDCA projects and Lean
- Kaizen events
- 5 years or more in Experience in TQM, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, or other Process Improvement practices
- 3 years or more in Experience in implementing advanced data tools, predictive analytics, or embedding AI-enhancements within operational environments
- 3 years or more in Experience in Transportation Industry or Maintenance Management
- 3 years or more in Experience with telematics, diagnostics, or mobility/untethered tools
- 3 years or more in Experience managing vendor relationships for technology solutions
- Microsoft Office/Teams Suite with emphasis on collaboration and embedded AI Intermediate
- Project Management Methodologies and Tools/Software Intermediate
- Data Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Tableau) Intermediate
