Role Overview
Own and drive the full certification roadmap
from the initial gap analysis and process design to successful external audit and certification.
Design, implement, and continuously improve a high-performance QMS aligned with ISO 9001:2026 requirements.
Act as the primary interface to certification bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Support the company’s Quality Policy and actively contribute to achieving Quality Objectives.
Prepare and present Management Reviews for executive leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Standardize, harmonize, and optimize quality-related processes across all departments.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement (e.g., CAPA, root cause analysis, lessons learned).
Define, track, and report on quality KPIs to ensure transparency and performance.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
Define and enforce standards for technical documentation and document control.
Ensure full product traceability and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
Identify risks within processes and systems and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Support external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
Requirements
Several years of proven experience in Senior Quality Management or Senior Project Management, ideally within the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.
Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, a track record of successful certifications, and proficiency in project & process management.
Strong familiarity with the New Toy Safety Regulation, packaging regulations, and the evolving requirements of the Digital Product Passport.
Experience in leading projects and driving change across different levels of an organization.
You are a confident, self-assured personality with a friendly, team-oriented approach.
You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Willingness to travel to Schwäbisch Gmünd & Düsseldorf.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
