Professional Software Engineer – PHP, B2B Commerce

Role Overview

• As a Software Engineer, you work on modern, scalable applications and services in a cloud-based system landscape.
• You develop high-performance backend services using PHP 8, Symfony and AWS.
• You design and implement microservices and APIs for business customer processes.
• You work with event-driven technologies (AWS SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda).
• You ensure code quality through code reviews, testing and clean-code principles.
• You collaborate closely with Product and other teams.

Requirements

• You have hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
• You are familiar with modern software architectures and API-based systems
• Ideally, you have initial experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
• You are familiar with Docker, Git and CI/CD processes
• You have experience with microservices and event-driven systems
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and enjoy working in a team
• You actively and sensibly use AI tools in your daily development work
• You have good English skills; German is a plus.
