Own and improve core PMO services across the programme, keeping governance, reporting and controls consistent and “audit ready”
Run RAID management (logs, standards, quality checks, escalation), ensuring risks and issues are visible, current and actioned
Support change control and stage gate activity, coordinating submissions, decisions, actions and evidence
Maintain strong document management practices and repositories, so teams can quickly find the right version of the truth
Work with planning colleagues to align plans, milestones, dependencies and reporting, highlighting impacts early
Support programme resourcing activity (forecasting, onboarding/offboarding, ways of working) to help delivery teams stay effective
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, setting clear cadences and keeping communication flowing
Drive continuous improvement by spotting what’s slowing delivery down and introducing practical, tool‑enabled fixes
Requirements
Experience working in a PMO / P3O environment supporting large, complex programmes and multiple stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of RAID, dependency management, governance forums, reporting packs and stage gates
Proven experience managing change control processes and working to agreed SLAs and quality standards
Confident producing clear, concise written outputs and communicating effectively with senior audiences
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
Comfortable working with clients/partners/suppliers and building trusted relationships across teams
Security clearance: you’ll need to either already hold, or be able to obtain, Security Clearance (SC) (including having lived in the UK for at least 5 years)
