Lead strategic problem solving for GCO's highest-priority initiatives by structuring ambiguous problems, developing clear hypotheses, scoping required analyses and driving to and executing on actionable recommendations that shape priorities for the content and creator ecosystem.
Own the analytical foundation for strategy development — independently gathering, querying (SQL) and structuring data across sources to identify insights and support recommendations regularly.
Partner with XFN teams on competitive positioning research and new monetization opportunities, including how Pinterest goes to market with creators, and translate findings into strategic narratives that inform leadership decisions.
Operate as a strategic thought partner to GCO leadership and cross-functional partners, driving alignment through coalition-building and influence without direct authority.
Structure and execute projects by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, building relevant working groups, and developing final recommendations.
Author executive-ready narratives that synthesize complex data, market dynamics, competitive signals and internal context into clear, compelling stories used in strategy reviews and decision-making forums with senior stakeholders.
Use AI to accelerate analysis, iteration and synthesis, including frameworks, distilling research themes and automating repeatable reporting, while applying judgment and verification to ensure correctness and quality.
Requirements
10+ years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or strategy & operations / business operations roles in technology or media, or equivalent experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Analytics or Strategy, or equivalent experience.
Direct experience in the content and creator ecosystem at a scaled technology or media company, with an understanding of how platforms grow, retain and monetize creators and a track record of connecting content/creator strategy to business outcomes.
Structured thinking and analytical rigor. Experience breaking down ambiguous problems, building frameworks, developing hypotheses, scoping analyses and translating findings into actionable recommendations. Comfort independently querying data using SQL to identify insights.
Experience operating as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders (Director+) and influencing without authority across multiple functions (e.g. Product, Partnerships, Sales and Business Development).
Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end—from problem definition and analysis to decision-making and execution.
Experience in monetization strategy as it relates to content and creator platforms, including evaluating business models, researching competitive positioning and making strategic recommendations preferred.
Exceptional ability to author executive-ready narratives that synthesize complex data and ambiguous signals into clear stories that drive alignment and decisions among senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs such as data analysis, research synthesis and strategic frameworks.
Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g., source-checking, data validation, peer review).
