About this role
Role Overview
As a leader of the Methods, Analysis and Design (MAD) team you will be an active contributor to the development of BWR and non-BWR products
Support the development of technical talent and depth within the team
Provide leadership, resources and training needed to assure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines
Interface with project management and direct resources to execute to defined project work schedules and priorities
Monitor and enforce compliance with policies and procedures
Interface with internal customers, external customers and the NRC on technical issues
Act as a leader in company/business initiatives
Support GVH quality requirements, including participation in design reviews, initiating and responding to Condition Reports, identifying and providing needed training and mentoring, and maintaining adequate levels of qualified personnel
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical or similar)
Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
Minimum 5 years of experience in a people and/or technical leadership position
Knowledge of project management
Strong delivery mindset
Experience with Services and NPP projects
Previous technical leadership experience or ownership in key technical areas
Working knowledge of applied statistical framework of nuclear reactor core and fuel licensing, technical specifications, safety margin basis, and related Federal Regulations
Knowledge of nuclear analysis processes and the related interfaces between the GE Energy
Nuclear businesses
Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others
Team player with strong leadership capabilities
Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles
Ability to achieve stretch targets
Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity
