Set and lead the enterprise MDM vision, operating model, and multi-year roadmap (governance, ownership, ways of working, and investment priorities).
Establish master data policies, standards, and controls that enable consistent, compliant, and audit-ready data creation and change.
Stand up and run global governance across Material/Product, Customer, Vendor/Supplier, and Finance domains—including stewardship enablement and decision forums.
Own SAP MDG functional leadership, designing workflows, validations, integrations, and role-based controls that make the “right way” the easy way.
Lead SAP S/4HANA data migration strategy and execution (profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and cutover readiness) with measurable quality gates.
Build a data service and quality management capability— Establish service level DQ rules, monitoring, issue management, and continuous improvement—anchored in clear KPIs and accountability.
Partner with global business and IT leaders to translate process and governance needs into fit-to-standard solutions and tangible business outcomes.
Drive change adoption for new processes and tools through strong communications, training enablement, and a practical support/hypercare model.
Build and lead a high-performing team and delivery ecosystem (internal talent and system integrators), ensuring disciplined execution and value delivery.
Continuously improve usability and automation so master data services are fast, reliable, and scalable for the enterprise.
Requirements
10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in master data management, data governance, and/or related data leadership in business operations or related function in MedTech or other regulated industry
Experience managing global teams across multi-modal delivery including employees, integrators, and managed service providers
Hands-on leadership of SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA master data initiatives (design through deployment), including workflow, validation, and integration considerations.
Proven leadership of large-scale SAP data migration programs, including profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and cutover execution.
Strong knowledge of master data domains and business processes across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and commercial operations.
Experience establishing governance operating models, standards, controls, and stewardship engagement across regions/functions.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into fit-to-standard solutions and measurable outcomes.
