Originate and close new institutional and professional client relationships for Scope Prime’s Prime pillar.
Sell the firm’s DMA equities proposition via Iress, together with related prime and leveraged portfolio solutions.
Target relevant counterparties including professional traders, family offices, wealth platforms, brokers, asset managers, intermediaries and other sophisticated institutional clients.
Articulate the proposition across market access, execution quality, platform workflow, financing and commercial structure.
Build a self-generated pipeline through direct business development activity and market network.
Run meetings, structure pitches, negotiate commercials and close new mandates.
Coordinate effectively with onboarding, dealing and operations teams to bring clients live, without becoming the internal project owner.
Maintain strong forecasting discipline, CRM hygiene and clear accountability for net new revenue.
Represent Scope Prime externally and strengthen the market profile of the Prime business.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in institutional equities sales, DMA sales, electronic equities sales, sales trading, prime brokerage or portfolio financing.
Demonstrable track record of originating and closing new business.
Strong understanding of cash equities, DMA execution, market structure and financing-led client conversations.
Strong preference for candidates with Iress experience or directly comparable electronic-equities platform experience.
Existing network across institutional or professional clients relevant to DMA equities and prime.
Proven ability to originate and close revenue, not simply manage inherited relationships.
Credibility with sophisticated counterparties on platform, execution and commercial topics.
Entrepreneurial, self-directed and comfortable working in a high-accountability front-office environment.
Additional language capability is useful but not essential.
