Senior Network Engineer

Role Overview

• support infrastructure modernization of unclassified and classified base area networks
• lead site surveys and Engineering team in the design of modernized network architecture
• review and analyze network management/monitoring tools to provide network topology
• support the creation of network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts (Visio)
• develop Engineering Implementation Plan (EIP), with List of Materials (LOM)
• participate in internal and external technical discussions and meetings as needed
• Design, implement, and document secure network architectures
• Ensure all installations meet industry safety standards and operational cleanliness
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• University Degree (BA/BS) and 7+ years of related work experience
• DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC)
• Other Certifications: CCNP/JNCP or equivalent
• Must currently hold U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD
• Desired: Experience supporting OCONUS Army Network
• Experience working with USFK, and US Army Network infrastructure in Korea
• CISSP
