Lead the preparation, review, and timely filing of VAT and Income Tax advance payments, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.
Manage interactions with tax authorities, including support and leading audit processes and responding to inquiries.
Ensure full compliance with electronic invoicing (CFDI) and other digital tax obligations, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.
Lead the preparation, review, and submission of tax refund claims, ensuring completeness and technical support of documentation.
Support and review the preparation of the annual income tax return and related schedules.
Expertise in SIPRED filing and preparation of documentation for external audits.
Provide support in deferred tax calculation and analysis.
Maintain and apply a solid understanding of Mexican income tax law about cross-border transactions.
Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and documentation.
Act as a key point of contact for internal departments (Accounting, Legal, Purchasing, controlling) on tax-related matters.
Support the development of junior team members.
