Role Overview
- Lead a 6–8 person team
- Ensure VAT-compliant accounting for corporate clients
- Mentor staff and partner with directors
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Oversee the accounting team
- Provide VAT advice to clients when required
- Liaise with auditors
- Review work carried out by team members
- Plan workloads to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm
Requirements
- Minimum of four years’ experience within a similar firm
- A degree from the University of Malta (Honours or Masters in Accountancy) or an ACCA qualification
- A valid warrant to practice Accountancy in Malta
- A recognised qualification in Maltese VAT from an established professional institution in Malta
- Strong command of both written and spoken English (knowledge of Italian will be considered an asset)
