About this role

Design, implement, and optimize Power Plant Control systems for renewable energy assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced control strategies into Unity REMS.
Monitor and analyze power plant performance to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational excellence.
Develop and maintain documentation for control system configurations and updates.
Participate in the testing and commissioning of new control technologies and upgrades.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to proactively improve PPC methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of power plant operations, particularly in renewable energy.
Experience with SCADA systems, control algorithms, and performance analytics.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to control systems, such as Python or C++.
Familiarity with communication protocols used in renewable energy systems (e.g., Modbus, DNP3).
Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to inform decisions.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
