Administration, configuration, monitoring and lifecycle management of IBM POWER systems running AIX, including performance tuning, patch management and troubleshooting
Responsibility for creating, maintaining and continuously updating detailed system, architecture and environment documentation in accordance with internal standards
Design, development and implementation of automation solutions for operational and administrative processes using scripting and orchestration tools to improve efficiency, stability and repeatability
Active support in architectural design, implementation, configuration and ongoing administration of new infrastructure components, including servers, operating systems and related services
Planning and execution of system rollouts, upgrades and migrations, including risk assessment, testing, coordination with stakeholders and post-migration validation
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience administering and configuring AIX systems in enterprise environments
Solid experience administering enterprise storage infrastructures such as HP 3PAR and IBM V7000; additional storage technologies are an advantage
Experience with other Unix/Linux distributions, including strong shell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured, independent and responsible working approach
High customer orientation with a strong service

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent English skills, spoken and written; German skills are considered an advantage
